Frida Kahlo's studio in the house Juan O’Gorman designed for her and Diego Rivera, built 1931-32. A reminder that the modern happened everywhere, and was often the chosen aesthetics of the creative people of the time, the artists, intellectuals and so forth. For them, it was the look of now.
